A typical day

On regular days you inspect licensed premises, check stock registers and labels, and work on case papers for pending prosecutions. Raids happen on information, often at night and in out-of-the-way places where hooch is brewed or smuggled liquor is moved. Before elections and dry days the workload jumps.
