A typical day
You work as part of a team under an Inspector or DSP on one or two cases at a time. Days go into analysing phone and bank data, preparing notices, travelling to record statements and updating the case diary. Raids mean pre-dawn starts and tight secrecy beforehand. Much of the work is sensitive, so you cannot discuss it at home, and leave can be cancelled when a case breaks.
