What you will actually do
- Typing fair copies of orders, letters and statements in Tamil and English
- Typing judgments and depositions in court postings
- Maintaining typed records and dispatch copies
- Data entry and e-office work
- General clerical help in the section
A typical day
You type what the section produces: drafts approved by the superintendent, proceedings, statements and, in courts, long judgments and evidence. Accuracy in Tamil typing matters more than speed, because fair copies go out under an officer's signature. When typing work is light you help with registers and e-office entries. The hours are regular.
