Doing beauty, cleaning, AC, appliance, plumbing or electrical jobs at customers' homes through an app. The best hourly earnings among app-based work, but it needs a real skill.
The short answer
The strongest numbers of any gig work on this site, though they are the company's own. It is not for someone with no skill: you must already be a trained beautician, technician, plumber, electrician or cleaner, or train first. If you have the skill, it is worth comparing with working on your own.

You are listed on the app for one category of service in one part of the city. Customers book a slot, the app assigns the job, and you travel to the home with your kit and the products the platform specifies. The customer pays through the app or in cash, and the platform deducts its commission and the cost of products it supplied. Ratings decide how many jobs you get, and a run of low ratings can take you off the platform. Most partners are full-time and plan their day around bookings.
What you need
- Age 18 or above.
- A trade skill with experience: beauty and salon work, massage, home cleaning, AC and appliance repair, plumbing, electrical or carpentry work.
- A two-wheeler helps, since you carry a kit between homes.
- An Android smartphone, Aadhaar, PAN, a bank account and background verification.
- The platform's training and skill test for your category.
- A starter kit and products as the platform specifies.

How the money works
The customer pays the price shown in the app. The platform deducts its commission, any service charge and the cost of products it supplied, and pays you the balance, usually weekly. Your own travel and consumables come out of that.
- Commission and product costs differ by category and change. Ask for the current deductions on a sample job.
- More and better ratings bring more jobs; cancelling jobs brings penalties.
- You are a partner, not an employee: no salary, paid leave or provident fund.
What people actually take home

Work out your own number
Put in the rates you are actually offered. The starting values are examples, not what you will get.
Fill in the empty boxes to see the result. We have left them empty because we found no figure we could trust.
For 'pay per job' enter what reaches you after commission and product cost. Put kit loan instalments and your own consumables under 'other costs'.
Count the hours you are logged in and waiting, not only the hours you are riding. Vehicle wear, repairs, traffic fines and days without work come out of the same money.

How to start
- If you do not have the skill yet, train first: see free skill training and apprenticeships on this site.
- Visit the platform's partner centre, or apply in its partner app, for your category.
- Clear the skill test and background check, and complete the training.
- Buy only the kit that is required to start.
- After three months, compare what you net per hour with what local customers pay you directly.
What is good about it
- Higher earnings per hour than delivery or driving, on the company's figures.
- Customers come to you through the app; no shop is needed.
- Training and a quality standard that helps if you later work on your own.
- Useful for women beauticians who prefer booked visits to a salon job.
What is hard about it
- Needs a real skill, a kit and upfront spending.
- Commission, product costs and penalties reduce each job's price.
- Ratings and cancellations can get you blocked.
- Visiting strangers' homes carries its own risks; use the app's safety features.
- No fixed income and no employee benefits.
Traps to avoid
- Agents charging a fee to get you onboarded. Apply only through the company's own app or centre.
- Fake customer-care numbers asking for an OTP or a 'refundable deposit'.
