A typical day
The tehsil office is crowded from the morning with people seeking certificates, ration cards and land orders. You hear cases, sign a large pile of files, and review the Talathis and Circle Officers under you. Collector-level video conferences and visits eat into the day. Nights can involve raids on illegal sand mining, which is risky. In an election or calamity the office runs around the clock.
